CasperPrep is an online platform for practising CASPER-style exam questions. You can paste your own scenarios, generate them with AI, answer under timed conditions, and get detailed feedback.

The real CASPer test (2026 format) is 65–85 minutes total and has two parts: a video-response section (4 scenarios, 2 questions each, 1 minute per question to record a spoken answer) and a typed-response section (7 scenarios, 2 questions each, 3.5 minutes per scenario). CasperPrep replicates the typed section exactly — same scenario count, same timing, same 2-question structure. We don't currently simulate the video section, though it's on the roadmap.

You can use the timer and paste-your-own scenarios as much as you like, generate 1 AI scenario per day, and preview the first 3 scenarios of a mock exam. AI grading is a Pro feature.

If you complete 40+ AI-graded questions during your Pro access and your average score is below the top quartile (under 7/9), you can claim a free 7-day access extension from your dashboard. We'll verify your scores then apply the extension manually.

Submit your answers directly from the practice screen and the AI evaluates each one against CASPER criteria — empathy, communication, ethical judgment, professionalism — and returns a 1–9 score with specific positives and improvement areas for each answer.

Yes. You can paste any scenario and questions into the input fields. The "Paste from clipboard" button makes it quick to transfer text from other sources.

AI-generated scenarios are designed to reflect real CASPER themes: ethical dilemmas in healthcare, interpersonal conflict, professional integrity, and community health. They are varied across settings (hospital, medical school, research, community) and deliberately avoid having an obvious "right" answer.

The mock exam simulates the full CASPer typed-response section — 7 AI-generated scenarios, 2 questions each, 3.5 minutes per scenario, for approximately 24.5 minutes total. Scenarios are generated automatically and you move through them sequentially, just like the real exam. The real test also includes a video-response section (4 scenarios, ~12 minutes); we don't simulate that yet.

Yes. There are pause, resume, and reset buttons during every practice session. Note that the real CASPER exam does not allow pausing.

Nothing to cancel — Pro is a one-time payment. A 7-day pass simply stops working after 7 days; lifetime access never ends. There are no recurring charges to worry about.

No. CasperPrep is an independent practice tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Acuity Insights, Altus, the CASPer® test, or any associated testing company. CASPer® is a registered trademark of its respective owner. AI-generated scenarios are designed to resemble the style of CASPer questions but may not exactly match the official test format or content.

Practice answers are not stored on our servers. They exist only in your browser during a session. Your account details and subscription status are stored securely.
